Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune is a highly reputed constituent institute of Symbiosis International Deemed to be University (SIU) SIBM Pune is located at the picturesque Lavale village. Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce comes under the Symbiosis University & was established in 1983 in Pune. The college offers 3-year programs in Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts and a 2-year program in Master of Commerce, in addition to Diploma and Certificate courses in Liberal Arts. Admission to all the courses is made on the basis of merit achieved in the qualifying examination. It now also offers the ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) course alongside the graduation programs to empower students with an international level certification.
B.com is a three-year under-graduation program. BCom is the second most popular undergraduate course in the Commerce branch. Under BCom, there are three most popular courses, namely BCom or BCom-General, BCom (Honours), and BCom LLB. This college also provides these three courses.
